Hello, we’re Pickled Pumpkin Catering – a young, dynamic, imaginative, chef led catering company based in Monmouthshire, South Wales. Our total priority is our high standard of food and service.

Our mission is to provide exceptional culinary experiences for your events that are sustainable, creative and professional. We are committed to using locally-sourced, organic and ethically-produced ingredients whenever possible. Committed to minimising our environmental impact through eco-friendly practices such as composting and recycling.

We strive to create unique and personalised menus that reflect the tastes and preferences of our clients and to deliver these dishes with the highest level of service and attention to detail. Our team of skilled chefs and event planners are dedicated to making every wedding celebration a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

By offering delicious, sustainable, and beautifully-presented food, we hope to contribute to the success and enjoyment of every event we serve, and to make a positive impact on the world around us in the process!

Who is Pickled Pumpkin Catering?

It all started with a passion for cooking and some really big ideas!

Owner, Joshua Currall has been cheffing since he was 15.

He’s gained years of valuable experience, keeping up to date with emerging food trends and innovative ingredients. He started his career as a head chef across rosette establishments, wedding venues and hotels and has since gained creative partnerships with many other prestigious venues.

Josh formed ‘Pickled Pumpkin Catering’ in December 2019 to bring his vision to life – creating inspiring, high quality food for contract catering and events.

Shortly after launch, they won their first large catering contract and they haven’t looked back since!

In December 2020, Pickled Pumpkin Catering were asked by a local couple who enjoyed their time at The Pavilion over the duration of its opening to cater for their special day. We jumped at the opportunity, providing dishes such as trio of lamb, freestanding brûlée, with apple textures and more!

2021 arrived and we were in full swing at the event centre, and we catered for 8 weddings. 2022 fulling over 380 weddings and events successfully, creating many great partnerships with venues in South Wales, Hereford and Bristol. Opening The Lodge Bistro with the local Cefn Tilla Court. 2023 looks to be a record breaking year for us all, and we look forward to what other surprises that the year has in store for us.
